the podcast I needed at exactly the right time
I’ve never felt so seen. I am a Jewish mother of a four-year-old living in rural Colorado (proud that Sen. Roberts represents me) and extremely frustrated by the national political scene.
In fact I’ve decided to run for my local city council even though I have no political background. This is exactly the podcast I needed at exactly the right time. I know how time-consuming making episodes is, but I wish there was a new episode every day because I want more!

Never a perfect balance
There can never be a perfect balance and the pressures of society can make working parenthood feel so isolating. Im not a parent but if I were, i would only feel more seen and heard by these two. All we can do is our best, and those women who are doing it all are superheros in my mind. Thanks for creating this community! It makes the prospect of having children one day s little less scary.
